TYPES OF WRITERS WHO NEED A WRITING COACH:
THE BEGINNER
You just started writing, and you need help. A lot of it.
THE SECRET WRITER
You write but you don’t want anyone to know you write, let alone READ your work—that's what I'm here for.
THE “NEED A KICK IN THE BUTT-ER”
You’ve got a great idea for a story and you can write when you put your butt in the chair-—I’ll develop a writing plan for you with daily, weekly, and monthly Goals, along with specific writing assignments with DEADLINES.
THE NEXT STEPPER
Your work's finished. Congratulations. I’ll guide you through the query process. Together we’ll figure out what agents you should query and when. I’ll even assign specific writing assignments to fine tune your query or synopsis.
AND If you don’t know what a query is or how to write one, I can help you with that too.
SOCIAL MEDIA and SCHOOL VISIT GUIDANCE
I’ll help you figure out what your social media presence should be AND help build your social media presence OR help you figure out what social media is…
I’ll help prepare you for school visits and public speaking engagements whether for a conference, a workshop, or even your first critique group meeting.
YOU—THE WRITER
Regardless of where you might be in your writing journey, it’s beneficial to have someone help you establish short and longterm goals, set deadlines, provide support, and at times, boot that writer’s block out of the stadium. I’m also that shoulder to cry on or the loud, obnoxious, face-painted fan on the sideline cheering you on
INVEST IN YOURSELF
Life is busy. Time is limited. But if writing is something you really want to do, you need to invest in yourself. You need to set up a writing schedule. You need deadlines. You need accountability, and I'm the person to guide you along that journey.
Make an investment in yourself. You’re worth it.
